Certified translations have to specify whether they are made on the basis of an original document, copy or scan. If you are not sure, ask the authority that requires the translation whether it should be made from an original document or a copy of a document.
You can send me a scan and then show me the original document when you collect the translation. You can also send your documents via post or courier service, and I will send them back to you with the translation.
